Use the SongPal app as a unified system remote to control sources from the head unit or apps installed on your smartphone. It even allows you to adjust various audio settings such as the ten-band EQ and subwoofer level. AOA 2.0 allows you to connect your Android device to the USB port to play back your favorite music app and use your smartphone’s large screen to search for for your favorite tracks. The MEX-M71BT can control Pandora, even “Thumbs Up” or “Thumbs Down” a track, is SiriusXM™ ready (receiver sold separately), can play MP3 and WMA files from a CD and play MP3, WMA and FLAC files from a USB drive. For extended use on the water, the circuit board is coated and the face is UV protected.
