VDO Sender and Drive Tangs, Part No. 340-001 Floating Ground Sender 7/8″-18 Thread

340-001 can be used with VDO generator tachometers and synchronizers. The generator generator sender is installed with its shaft connected to the injector pump or or camshaft of the engine. Up to four generator tachometers and two synchronizers can be operated from one generator sender.

It is important to use the correct size drive tang for your engine. Check your your engine specifications for correct drive tang size.

340-020 is for use with electronic and programmable tachometers and engine synchronizers designated as inductive type.
